Congrats on the extra display space! Once you get a lot of screen real estate, you will never go back, trust me. Studies have shown people are more productive on bigger screens at higher resolutions. I know from my own experience that with my big Cinema Display I don't notice the speed of my machine or Internet connection so much anymore, just because the extra display area seems to make up for it somehow.
